Not your mother’s kitchen.The kitchen sure has come a long way. Over the years it has gone from a simple, fairly unassuming room with an icebox and a stove to “entertainment central” – fully loaded with as many fine culinary tools as a chef’s workspace. And this trend shows no sign of letting up. Just some of the specialty areas in demand are dedicated baking niches with double ovens, built-in wine storage and tasting areas, pizza-making stations (complete with hearth-fired ovens) and coffee/espresso bars.
