SHOWERHEAD TECHNOLOGY PROVES PERFORMANCE AND WATER-SAVINGS CAN CO-EXIST.

Danze, Inc. has announced the addition of a unique showerhead technology that ensures a high-performing shower even at lower flow rates.  The new showerhead configuration  injects air directly into the  showerhead ‘engine’  providing an improved shower experience.

This mixing of water and air provides three significant benefits to the user:

  • Increases water velocity and shower spray intensity
  • Softens the feel of the shower spray by trapping air bubbles in the water stream
  • Maintain water temperature compared to “misting” showerheads, which tend to lose their warmth

This technology is being introduced on two of Danze’s newest showerheads – the Danze 200 (pictured left) and Danze 250 (pictured right).  These showerheads are available in different versions to accommodate varying flow rates (1.5 gallons per minute, 1.75 gpm, 2.0 gpm and 2.5 gpm). 

“We use Neoperl® High Performance flow controllers to help maintain a prescribed flow rate regardless of the incoming water pressure,” says Rob Larson, Danze Director of Business Development. “By injecting warm air through two small holes in the ball joint, we’re able to deliver an improved shower experience that is powerful, relaxing and quiet.”

Danze will introduce this new technology at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in April. In Danze booth (#750), the 200 model (shown left) will be in an operating display showing side-by-side comparisons of each flow rate– once again proving that performance doesn’t need to be sacrificed.

Each of these showerheads is WaterSense approved in their 1.75 gpm and 2.0 gpm versions and meet strict water-saving requirements.  Users save up to 20% on their water usage compared to other showerheads.
