Q: What’s your design philosophy?
Each one of us has a shape, color, and or texture we admire. Finding that one thing that makes someone truly enjoy being in their space is what makes everything else come together. After all, your home is not just an interior... It’s a reflection of you.
Q: What’s the best piece of design advice you have received?
Do not be afraid of over using the color white. White is crisp, clean, and is going nowhere. Adding color is easy to do with accents. Better yet, don't choose any other color for the space and you still have a statement.
Q: What's a recent project that you're really proud of? Why?
I recently worked with clients who lived in their home for over 10 years with every intention of remodeling when they first bought the home. But they could never agree on a layout until they saw the vision I presented to open up the floor plan. Taking down walls broadened their vision and they reached an agreement on their dream very quickly.
Q: Where do you get your inspiration?
My inspiration comes from what clients say and don't say; I often walk into a client’s home and see what they never have because they have lived the same way their entire life. I customize each space based on each unique person’s personality. Sometimes you need guidance to find the solution and some boundaries need to be pushed.
Q: Do you specify Danze?
Danze fixtures have been specified on many occasions for clients I have worked with. One of the builders I work closely with uses the Parma pull-down faucet for its sleek professional appeal.
