Danze Single Lever Shower Control

I shopped the big box stores for shower controls but really didn't like what I saw. I went to a kitchen/bath store and browsed the displays, I liked the Danze shower control. The quality, looks and even the weight was superior to then anything I saw. I paid a little more but it was worth it, it operates smooth and looks great.I would recommend this product to my friends.

handsome but...

we like the look and style of this shower valve cover and handle. our complaint is that it is extremely touchy when controlling water temperature. one can inadvertantly bump the handle and water temp changes drastically.

The valve operates smoothly, however, the accuracy with which it needs to be installed makes it problematic. The face of the plastic cover-plate needs to be exactly flush with the finish in the shower. There should be latitude designed into the assembly for some adjustment after the finish is installed on the adjacent wall surface. There is no way exact flushness can be achieved. The extension kit that is offered (for additional cost) is insufficient to make corrections for optimum adjustment.
